For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith – Mark 11:23
The Lord Jesus Christ spoke to God, demons, people, corpses, trees, and the winds and the waves. The Lord dominated circumstances with the Power of His Words. John 6:53 says, ‘It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.’ His Words are not ordinary words. His Words are Spirit and they are Life. His Words are not only spiritual, they are not only alive, but they are Spirit and they are Life. They are Pneuma and Zoe. When the Lord speaks, He has what He says because what He says comes to pass.
We’re Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, He’s our Example. Since we have the same Father as Him, and the same Spirit as Him, His Words on our lips are Spirit and Life. We can speak and have whatsoever we say. What we say can come to pass. We can therefore address the circumstances in our lives with the Words that we speak. Often in Intercession, the Lord would have me decree a thing over a region and I’ve seen it come to pass. However, the context of what the Lord said about speaking Words of Power was Prayer. The effectual fervent Prayer of a righteous man makes much power available.
After we’ve prayed and the Power of God is made available, we can decree a thing and see it come to pass. It’s first our Priestly Ministry through Prayer and thereafter our Kingly Authority through Decrees. Like the Lord Jesus Christ, we can dominate circumstances and tame our environment with the sheer force of what we say. Don’t forget that Satan’s human agents use verbal curses to enforce the devil’s power over this world. To break their curses and establish God’s Will, we must also say something. We must speak in line with the Covenant. We must break the Curse and establish God’s Will by speaking the Blessing. It’s time to command some things to be removed from our lives. Whatever obstacle is in your way, like a mountain, it must be removed and be cast into the sea. Glory to God!

I’m a Disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. Like my Master, when I speak, things change. The Words that I speak are Spirit and Life. When I decree a thing, it comes to pass. Glory to God!
