The Name of the Lord Jesus Christ is the all-conquering Name. The Lord Jesus Christ gave His Disciples His Name to go out and do Ministry with. Luke 9:1 says, ‘Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.’ The Disciples therefore went out and cast out devils and healed the sick. What’s so special about that? Well, operating in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ means Satan and his demons respond to you the same way they would to the Lord Himself. Glory to God!
The Name of the Lord Jesus Christ carries with it the Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. It carries with it what makes Jesus Christ Lord. That’s so powerful! In other words, the Name of the Lord Jesus carries with it all the Attributes of the Lord Himself. When He told us to go out in His Name, He was giving us Power-of-Attorney to act in His Stead. When someone gives you Power-of-Attorney, they’re giving you the legal authority to represent them in their absence. You can transact on their behalf legally and whosoever you transact with must accord you the same respect they would have your principal.
Each time we say, ‘In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ’ we’re telling the realm of the Spirit that we’re His Representatives, His Substitutes, we’re those who have been given the Power-of-Attorney to do business on His Behalf. Therefore, we must be taken as seriously as He is taken seriously. Oh, Glory to God! That’s why that devil has to turn you lose. That’s why that marriage must work. That’s why that child must obey. That’s why that sickness has to be healed. That’s why that job must be yours. That’s why that promotion can’t escape you this time. That’s why that business must be profitable. That’s why that witch has to lose. That’s why that stubborn problem you’ve been facing for so long has to finally be resolved. Like the Apostles, use the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. That’s the Doctrine of Christ! Glory to God!
CONFESSION
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I confront every negative circumstance and situation in my life. I command every demon responsible for delay, stagnation, retrogression, obstacles and lack of progress in my life to depart. Just as you cannot bind the Lord Jesus Christ, you cannot bind me. Glory to God!
