“Do I need to give you more examples? I don’t have enough time to tell you about Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and the prophets. All of them had great faith. And with that faith they defeated kingdoms.
They did what was right, and God helped them in the ways he promised. With their faith some people closed the mouths of lions. And some were able to stop blazing fires. Others escaped from being killed with swords. Some who were weak were made strong. They became powerful in battle and defeated other armies.”

When you were born again, you received the very life and nature of God. This means that you have divine abilities to function in this life. Glory to God! You belong to a generation of “more than conquerors.” You belong to a nation of warriors who’s Master and Chief Commander has already conquered defeat, failure and death and now sits enthroned over all powers and principalities and has handed you His authority and power to walk into any situation or war zone knowing that you have already won. Friend, you have an unfair advantage to always be on top and always win, even when it doesn’t seem like you are winning.
At His death and resurrection, the Lord Jesus made sure that nothing remains that can have power over those who belong to His army. He didn’t die to produce failures, weaklings and victims. He died to raise a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation and a peculiar breed of victors. We are an army that doesn’t give up! No matter how difficult the situation may appear to be, we march on with the mindset of victory and an attitude of triumph over the troubles. We can’t be knocked out, it is impossible! We know how to rise up and keep rising regardless of the number of times we are wounded in battle. Like our Master the Lord Jesus Christ we arise and take our place in victory. Glory to God!
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for the life of Christ in me that gives me the ability and power through the Holy Spirit to be triumphant in battles. You have chosen me for a life of greatness, and I am grateful to You Lord. I function in Your might, and I am confident that no matter how deep the valley is and how dim the path may look, I have the victory because of Your life that’s at work in me. You have made me more than a conqueror and placed me in the army of greatness. Thank You Lord. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ amen.
