And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all – Acts 3:16
You’ve been called to rule and reign with Christ in this world so that you can rule and reign with Him in the World to Come. That’s why it’s so important to have Faith in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. His Name will produce the same results He would have irrespective of which Christian uses it. Don’t look at yourself and consider your shortcomings. Don’t say I’m not a Minister of the Gospel. Don’t say I’m too young. Don’t have Faith in your inabilities. Have Faith in the all-conquering Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
When Peter and John saw a man crippled from birth at the Temple gate called Beautiful, they had compassion on this man. This man begged them for money. He wasn’t asking to be healed in his body. He had no Faith whatsoever to be healed. All he wanted was enough money for his next meal. Acts 3:6 says, ‘Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ancle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.’ Oh, Glory to God!
As soon as Peter used the Authority of the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, this man’s ankle bones received strength. He stood up and started to walk. He went around leaping and praising God. This man was born crippled! Glory to God! Peter and James didn’t look to their own authority but to that of the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. That’s what you have to do. Don’t consider your age. You can change the trajectory of your life by understanding and using the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Use it to deal with your immediate problems. Use it in your studies, your job, at home and in every other setting. It’s not just for healing the sick, but by all means lay hands on the sick and they will get healed.
CONFESSION
All Authority has been given to the Lord Jesus Christ, in Heaven, on earth and under the earth. I have Faith in His Name and therefore rule and reign with Him in this world so that I may rule and reign with Him in the World to Come.
