Character gets tested in how we relate to others. It is not money or material things that will tell who you are. It is not even how much time you spend in prayer that will show your true self. You are truly how you respond when things don’t go your way and pressure amounts. Today, remember that you are first a Christian at all times. And your Christianity will be seen from your character. The Lord has told us to produce good fruit, fruit in line with righteousness.
Gentleness is one fruit that you will have to produce especially in moments when you will be spending time with family and loved ones. Be the light that draws others to Christ, through how you relate to others. Do not be the instigator of argument, don’t be the drama queen of the family. Be the peace maker even if you look like the fool. Carry your cross for the sake of our Lord Jesus Christ.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, help me to be a righteous ambassador for your kingdom. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ amen.
