BY SPEAKING THE WORD OF FAITH
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak – 2 Corinthians 4:13
There is Faith, the Word of Faith, the Law of Faith, the Fight of Faith and the Spirit of Faith. The Spirit of Faith is what we use to wage war when we fight the Fight of Faith. 1 Timothy 6:12 says, ‘Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.’
We fight the Good Fight of Faith and hold on to the Eternal Life we acquired by Faith. Eternal Life is the Blessing of God that contains all His other Blessings.
Eternal Life is Salvation. It’s Salvation in this world and the World to Come. When you have Eternal Life you have Healing, Deliverance, Prosperity and Protection in this life. And in the World to Come, you get to rule and reign with the Lord, if you fight the Good Fight of Faith and hold on to it. The Spirit of Faith is a fighting Spirit. It fights by speaking what it believes. It keeps the devil at bay through the Word of Faith.Through Trials Satan wants you to lose Eternal Life in this world and the World to Come. He wants you to walk in sin, sickness, poverty and defeat in this world. And in the World to Come, he wants you to go to the Lake of Fire. The two are related. When you sin the devil oppresses you with poverty, sickness and demonisation in this world. And if you keep on sinning, you’ll end up in the Lake of Fire.
The devil tempts us with sin so that we may fall and lose it all. But through the Spirit of Faith, we fight back. We speak what we believe. When Satan wanted to dispossess the Lord, the Lord talked back. You need to talk back to the devil. When he attacks you with sin, don’t just sit there and take it. Don’t roll over and just say there’s Grace. Say something. Fight back! The Lord told him, ‘Get thee behind me, Satan!’ The Lord Jesus Christ is a Fighter. He fought the Good Fight of Faith and conquered this world. Let’s learn from His Example. Let Him find us in Faith, and not sin. All that is not of Faith is sin, and if He finds us in sin, we’ll be judged with the wicked and lose our Eternal Life. It’s time to repent, and live in Victory over sin, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near!
CONFESSION
I fight the Good Fight of Faith and lay hold on Eternal Life by speaking what I believe. I resist the devil and keep him under my feet by speaking the Word of Faith. Glory to God!
