ARE YOU GUILTY OF THE BLOOD OF THE LOST?

Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God – Acts 20:26-27

The Apostle Paul declared the whole counsel of God to the region of Ephesus, as a result he was innocent of their blood. When we fail to preach the Gospel to those God has sent us to, their blood will be demanded from us on the Day of Judgment. Ezekiel 33:9 says, ‘Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.’ By preaching the Gospel to the wicked, we’re delivering not only their souls, we are delivering our own as well.

There’s a penalty for not preaching the Gospel to the lost. The Great Commission is not a suggestion, it’s a Commandment of the Lord Jesus Christ. Many believe the Lord only commanded us to love people, and by that they mean being nice to them. They therefore live, work and play with the lost and never preach the Gospel to them. Who will minister to them but you? God put you there to reach them, and if you don’t and they go to the Lake of Fire, you’ll be condemned with them. Why should you stay saved because someone reached out to you but you won’t do the same for others? That’s evil!

Matthew 5:13 says, ‘Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.’ We are the Salt of the earth. Salt is a preservative. Through the Church, the people of this world are preserved from Judgment. But if we don’t salt the earth, we lose our usefulness, we’ll be cast out and trodden under foot. We’ll be destroyed in the Lake of Fire with the wicked. That’s why you have to reach the lost as if your life depends on it, because it does. It’s time to repent of this great evil of ignoring the lost because the Kingdom of Heaven is near. Glory to God!

PRAYER

Father in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, forgive me for ignoring the lost. May I declare the Wonders of God to them that I may be innocent of their blood. Amen.
