When the Lord Jesus Christ walked this earth, He was the only One with Eternal Life. All other humans were born of natural descent but He was born of God. When we were born again, we received Eternal Life. We were born of God. In other words, the New Birth has made us like the Lord Jesus Christ because we have the same Father as Him. That’s why we can follow Him.
He still has Eternal Life in Him. That’s why as He is, so are we in this world. John 1:16 says, ‘And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.’ Eternal Life is the Fullness of Christ. We have been endowed with the Fullness of His Life. All that’s in the Lord Jesus Christ has been put in us because He Himself lives in us. As He is, so are we in this world.
Colossians 2:2-3 says, ‘and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding…of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.’ In Christ are hidden all the treasures of Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding. And Christ is in you. God has so blessed us in Christ that we lack nothing. As He is, so are we in this world. Colossians 2:10 says, ‘And ye are complete in him…’ We are complete in Christ. We carry His Fullness in our Spirits. That’s why we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. That’s why in all things, we’re more than conquerors. That’s why we can shout, ‘Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.’ Nothing is impossible for us because as He is, so are we in this world. Glory to God!
CONFESSION
Christ lives in me. All that’s in Him is in me. Of His Fullness have I received and I’m complete in Him. As He is, so am I in this world. Glory to God!
