When this had dawned on him, he went to the house of Mary the mother of John, also called Mark, where many people had gathered and were praying – Acts 12:12
The Early Church didn’t leave their Christianity at the Temple, they took it home with them. As a result, their homes were centres of Holiness where God’s Purposes were lived out.
Many Christians wouldn’t dare use the AV system of their Church to watch dirty movies or to play worldly music. That’s because they consider the Church building to be a geography consecrated unto the Lord. That’s how the Lord wants you to view your home.
The reason many struggle with demons in their houses is because of their lack of consecration at home. Unholiness attracts demons. Don’t defile yourself and your home because of unholy habits. Your home will vomit you out. If you want to see God move in your life, live a Holy Life at home as well. Act at home as you do at Church. Fast, pray, worship, study and share the Word. Glory to God!
CONFESSION
My home is a centre of Holiness. I do at home what I do at Church because without Holiness no man will see the Lord. Glory to God!
