Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws – Genesis 26:5
You and your family can soar to new heights in 2023. The difference between your old season and your new one is Obedience. The thing that’s standing between you and your family’s breakthrough is often not the devil necessarily, but a Commandment of God you keep breaking. God cannot take you to the next level until you stop disobeying Him. Genesis 24:1 says, ‘And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things.’ Abraham, the Father of Faith, was a blessed man. He was blessed in all things. That’s what we all want.
But God didn’t just bless him because He liked Him. Abraham obeyed God’s Voice, and kept His Charge, His Commandments, His Statues and Laws. That’s the kind of man he was. Moreover, Abraham taught his family Obedience. Genesis 18:9 says, ‘For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord to do justice and judgment, that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which He hath spoken of him.’ Abraham taught his family to obey the Commandments of God. Faith obeys the Commandments and God rewards Faith with His Blessing.
No wonder Abraham became the object of God’s Affection. No wonder he became the target of God’s Blessing. John 8:39 says, ‘They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would DO THE WORKS OF ABRAHAM.’ Abraham is the Father of Faith. He knew that Faith without Works is dead. Therefore he backed his Faith with Obedience. You’re the Seed of Abraham, if you’d follow in his Footsteps of Faith, God will do the same for you. He’s no respecter of persons. May 2023 be the year you and your family are blessed in all things.

I’m the Seed of Abraham and his Blessing is working in my life. I follow in his Footsteps of Faith and do the Works of Abraham because Faith without Works is dead.
