The Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ has given to us a New Life. In other words, there ought to be a difference between the life we lived before we came to Christ and the Life we live once we have shared in His Resurrection.
Luke 6:40 says, ‘A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained will be like his teacher. Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ have been given Resurrection Life, which is the Life of Christ, so as to be able to live like Him.
One of the things the Life of Christ gives us is the Capacity to live a Holy Life like Him. Yes, the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ forgives us should we fall. However, the greatest Miracle is when we live a Holy Life in this fallen world in spite of Temptation. It’s when we flatly refuse to play the devil’s game and stubbornly live a Holy Life when everyone around us compromises and makes excuses. This is the Attitude of the Remnant. I refuse to sell out and live in sin! Glory to God!
CONFESSION
I’ve been raised up together with Christ and I’m seated in Heavenly Place far above sin, iniquity and transgression. I have the Life of Christ in me. I refuse to live in sin. Glory to God!
