IN CELEBRATION OF THE BIRTH OF THE PRINCE OF PEACE

Luke 2:14 says, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.’

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace. He came into this world to make Peace between a just God and rebellious humanity.

Colossians 1:21-22 says, ‘Once you were alienated from God and were hostile in your minds because of your evil deeds. But now He has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy, unblemished, and blameless in His presence.’

The Baby born in Bethlehem over 2 000 years ago, later died on the Cross and shed His precious Blood as a Sacrifice for our sins, thus making Peace between us and God.

Romans 5:1 says, ‘Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.’

Through the Blood of the Cross, we have been justified or acquitted of our sins. As a a result we have Peace with God.

The Lord Jesus Christ is our Prince of Peace.

But since He has made Peace between us and God, let’s not forget to share that Peace with the world around us.

Matthew 5:9 says, ‘Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.’

Like the Lord Jesus Christ, we are the Sons of God. Just as He made Peace through His Sacrifice on the Cross, let’s also deny ourselves and take up our Cross and follow His Example and make Peace with those unpleasant loved ones, friends, family, neighbours and colleagues.

Instead of holding on to grudges and feeling we’re entitled to our anger, let’s follow the Example of the Lord Jesus Christ and be living Sacrifices rather. Let’s rather be the ones to make the first move and humble ourselves before others and love them by making ourselves Sacrifices of Peace.

From me, Pastor T.L. Immanuel, my wife Prophet Angel and the rest of the Christian Consulate family, we wish you all a Merry Christmas full of the Peace of God which surpasses all understanding because the Prince of Peace is present in your life.

Merry Christmas!

Glory to God!
