Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth – John 17:17
John 8:31-32 says, ‘Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.’ The Word of the Lord Jesus Christ is the Truth the Father gave to Him. John 6:63 says, ‘It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. The Words of the Lord Jesus Christ are Spirit and they are Life. When He spoke them, they vaporised every lie.
John 8:44 says, ‘Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.’ The devil is a liar, everything he says has no Truth in it. Only the Doctrine of Christ is Truth. The devil will lie to you and say you’ll never make it in life. He’ll say you’re useless and going nowhere. He’ll say you’ll never amount to anything, that you’re a failure and nobody needs you. He’ll say you’ll die poor and before your time. He’ll say you’ll never get married or have children.
Satan attacks with words which then manifest as thoughts in our minds. When we believe his lies, we’ll live his lies and live the wrong life that God never intended for us. That’s why when he attacked the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord responded with, ‘It is written.’ Glory to God! He responded with the Truth and countered every lie of the enemy. It’s time you set the record straight. It’s time you put that devil in his place. Anything Satan says that’s not in line with your Covenant with God must be rejected forthright and destroyed with immediate effect. The Lord Jesus Christ died on the Cross and took every imaginable curse upon Himself so that you may live a blessed Life. Refuse to settle for less. Aggressively go after every bit of your Inheritance the Lord died to give you. So when Satan comes after you with His lies, respond with Truth and tell him, ‘It is written.’
DECLARATION
It is written, ‘I am the Seed of Abraham and an Heir according to the Promise. I’m blessed and not cursed. I’m the head and not the tail. I’m above always and never beneath. Whatsoever I do prospers. I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. In all these things, I’m more than a conqueror.’ Glory to God!
