BUT WE’RE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD.
Glory to God! I trust you’re well and denying yourself, taking up your Cross daily and following the Example of the Lord Jesus Christ so you can rule and reign with Him in this world and the World to Come.
Recently I heard the following:
Grid collapse.
END
There’s going to be a power grid collapse. The electricity grid is going to collapse.
This is the Prophetic Word the Lord has given at this hour. He hasn’t said when this will be.
The Lord also spoke about SABOTAGE. I believe that in some countries, a grid collapse will be as a result of sabotage. There’s an agenda behind some of these power cuts. But more about that another time.
But this is not the first time the Lord has said this.
On 24 December 2021, I shared the following:
BEGINNING
I was sleeping and in my sleep I had a Dream which I believe to be prophetic. I was in my bedroom and I suddenly realised that the power was off. It was pitch black.
I left my bedroom and went down the passage to the dining room. Everything was dark in that part of the house as well. When I got to the dining room, I opened the curtains to look outside but I could see nothing, everything was pitch black.
It wasn’t just my house but every other house around me. I say that because I couldn’t see anything. Every single light as far as I could see was off.
I believe there’s a major power outage coming. We’re going to see a blackout of sorts manifest at some point. We’ve had ‘loadshedding’ or power cuts in South Africa before but the Lord doesn’t usually tell me about them. When they occur, like everyone, I just take them to be a normal part of life in this country.
The fact that the Lord has taken the time to communicate this in a Dream must mean something different. It must be more significant than the usual power cuts we’ve seen so far.
Either there’s going to be a very prolonged blackout or a national blackout where no one has any power in the country or it could also be something global.

In South Africa, we’ve started seeing the manifestation of this Word where there are prolonged blackouts that continue to the middle of the night and the early hours of the morning.
When you wake up at 2 or 3 in the morning, there’s sometimes no power.
However, I believe in full swing, this Word speaks of a grid collapse, just as the recent Prophetic Word also affirms.
The Lord has not only warned us about what’s coming, however, He has also given us Light.
Psalm 119:105 says, ‘Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.’
The Lord has spoken about the darkness that will engulf this year.
The Word for 2023 is LIGHT COMING OUT OF DARKNESS. The Lord told us that grid failures will increase this year. In fact, He told us that they’re prophetic. As they increase, supernatural darkness will also increase on the earth.
This I believe speaks to the SABOTAGE mentioned earlier. We’ve also shared a Prophetic Word where we’ve seen demonic creatures moving during a power outage. I believe they’re the ones who will preside over the grid collapse.
But we’re the Light of the World! Glory to God!
The Lord told us that those who follow Him will have the Light of Life and will never walk in darkness. And that’s so true.
We follow the Lord Jesus Christ, and therefore have Light. We know what’s coming, and we’ve been given Light as to what to do.
I believe there’ll be a grid collapse not only in South Africa but other parts of the world as well.
When the grid collapses, expect the following to happen.
1. After a day or two, things will still be fine. Some people might even see it as a welcome break from the humdrum of daily life.
2. After about 5 days or so, reality will set in. Phones, tablets, laptops and TVs will be off.
3. Generators that have been running on diesel or petrol will go quiet. Petrol stations won’t be able to pump fuel because there’ll be no power.
4. There’ll be fewer cars on the road because of fuel shortages.
5. Supply chains will stop. Delivery trucks won’t deliver food to supermarkets anymore because their tanks will be empty. Food shortages will ensue.
6. Buying and selling will become a problem. Card transactions will be impossible without electricity.
7. Banks will cease to operate. You won’t be able to access your money or even use the ATM without electricity. Having cash will be useless.
8. Water supply will eventually become a problem since the government needs electricity to pump water to your house.
9. Hunger and thirst will set in and looting will begin. At this point, personal security of those with food and water will be threatened. After malls and shops have been looted, many will turn to households in search of food.
10. People will start roaming the streets looking for food and water. The government will likely declare a state of emergency or Martial Law. They’ll try to control the situation by ordering everyone to stay inside their homes. Movement will be restricted thus making everyone a sitting duck and easy prey for looters.
11. Hospitals and clinics will not be functional without electricity. Besides, many of them will be looted for medication and supplies.
12. At this point, the vulnerable such as those with chronic conditions, the elderly, babies in ventilators, patients in ICU and the like will pass on. With pharmacies looted, those who depend on certain life-saving medication will also go.
13. Healthy people without food and water will die of starvation and dehydration.
14. Aid agencies won’t be able to reach vulnerable communities because they won’t be able to access them without electricity or fuel.
15. Add to the grid collapse a natural disaster and there will be fatalities everywhere.
On 29 December, I shared the following Word:
BEGINNING
You only have a small window of time left, and that window is closing quickly.
END
Not only did I comment that this Word speaks of the Return of the Lord Jesus Christ, but that it also relates to the Coming Collapse/Storm.
Things might be better or worse compared to what I’ve just detailed. However, we should expect things not to be pleasant.
That’s why you need to be part of a Prophetic Community such as this one. This is how you’ll know what’s happening and how to prepare.
There are other Prophetic Words I’ve shared regarding the Coming Collapse/Storm such as the dream about war planes dropping food in homes. This speaks to the world being at war when this happens.
But this will be our finest hour as the Church. This is when we’re going to see the Lord’s Miracles of Provision and Protection.
We’ll be the Light of the World when everything plunges into darkness.
God will neither leave us nor forsake us. We need to be prudent and prepare. However, no amount of preparedness can outlast a year or two of a collapse. Unless you live in a bunker and you’ve been stockpiling food and water for decades.
This is going to be a glorious time when we’ll see the Lord come through for His People.
Food will multiply. Water will turn into wine. Manna will fall from Heaven. The East Wind will blow quail our way. Water will come out of rocks. Ravens will deliver food to us.
Isaiah 60:1-3 says, ‘Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.’
Instead of preparing to run away or hibernate, we should prepare to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom, to teach all nations to obey the Commandments of the Lord Jesus Christ, to cast out devils, to heal the sick, to cleanse the leper and to raise the dead.
This is the year Light comes out of darkness. It will be our moment to shine.
